Abstract
Disclosure of public information is an inevitable need in a digital society. In 2014 the
Yogyakarta Special Region Government through the DIY Regional Development Planning
Agency issued a development data application called Dataku, which in 2019 was managed
by the Technical Implementation Unit of the Regional Research, Development and Statistics
Center (BPPSD) of the Development Planning Agency. Special Region of Yogyakarta. This
application aims to facilitate Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in finding statistical
data. This application, which has been operating for six years, is certainly in the
implementation stage undergoing a transformation in information management, which
was previously done manually, now digitizing data. Based on this, it was interesting for
researchers to make the Dataku application as an object in data collection and involve the
Technical Implementation Unit of the Regional Research, Development and Statistics Center
(BPPSD) of Bappeda DIY as the person in charge of the Dataku Application. This study aims
to analyze the existing transformations with the presence of the Dataku application. This
study uses a qualitative descriptive method which in the process of collecting data uses
interview data from related parties and documentation as a data source. The results of this
study were divided into 3 phases, namely phase 1: thawing, phase 2: changing, phase 3:
refreezing, undergoing a better transformation in each phase. The implementation of this
application is considered to help OPD and the community in obtaining development data.
There are still shortcomings in terms of completeness of data and lack of information that
this application can be used by the public, but this application can still be improved to reach
a wider community.
