Abstract
Violence against children in Jambi City has increased significantly every year, the majority
occurring in cases of sexual violence and child neglect. Factors that cause violence against children
are very varied. In general, economic factors, easy access to the internet use of social media, and
family dysfunction. Therefore, this study analyzes the innovation efforts carried out by the Jambi
City Community Empowerment, Women and Child Protection Service (DPMPPA) with five
innovation attributes according to Evert M. Roggers, Relative Advantage, Compatibility,
Complexity, Trialability, Observability carried out by the City DPMPPA Jambi. The research method
uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The results showed that of the five attributes of
innovation in services carried out by DPMPPA it had been implemented, but in the provision of
human resources and the not yet optimal socialization of the PITA MOLIN program, the
implementation of innovation services for child protection in Jambi City had not been maximized.
